After more than a decade of leading the fi-71x0 series of document scanners, the manufacturer has launched an innovative, improved and technology-enhanced successor to this successful series, the fi-81x0 series.
It is a revolution and evolution and evolution in the document scanning market thanks to many new and patented technologies.
This scanner, RICOH fi-8190, is the highest of the 6-member family of “fi-8000" scanners and already has all the features and technologies of the mid-range brothers (fi-8170), i.e. color backlit multi-line LCD panel and all paper protection sensors).
However, it achieves maximum and highest speeds, and in this family and category A4 scanners with automatic feeder. Allows you to scan at a speed of: 90 sheets/180 images per min. [A4 portrait, 200/300 dpi, color/black/grayscale], also has a feeder capacity of up to 100 sheets, and the power/volume/recommended daily load reaches up to 13,000 sheets per day.
It also includes connectivity with the latest USB 3.2 technology, as well as LAN (RJ-45). Thus, it also offers the possibility of central management using the server technologies “Scanner Central Admin” and “PaperStream NX Manager”, in turn, enabling and facilitating both central setup and management, as well as PC-less scanning and storage/export of documents.
Thanks to the replacement of CCD (mirror) cameras with CIS panels, there was not only a saving of weight, dimensions, but above all energy savings!
The standard of illumination of the scanned original is, of course, LED panels, so there is no heating of the scanner or the need to wait for the optimal level of illumination. You scan within seconds of turning on the scanner.
In addition, CIS panels are enriched and enhanced with breakthrough and other patented technology (“PFU Clear Image Capture”), so that the scan results equalize or even significantly improve the results of the CCD cameras used by the manufacturer for many years (“DSLR” technology).
Another technological advantage of these scanners (without a flat bed) is the possibility of buying and installing an optional printing accessory, the so-called. “Post Imprinter”, which allows you to print the back of documents with a simple and one-line “string” (text, numbers, characters, date) immediately after it is scanned (or during scanning).
Applicable in all conceivable human sectors of business and industry, services and government. In short, wherever you encounter (even in today's digital age) a larger volume of paper and paper documents that you need to quickly scan and digitize.
