Why care for scanners with professional service from certified technicians

Document processing tends to be a critical process in organizations, and a document scanner outage represents a slowdown or complete stop of the overall process of processing documents into electronic form (e.g. DMS, ERP, etc.).

Document scanners are professional devices with a large document scanning capacity, which is why their paper feed system and the optical parts of the scanner must be kept clean and prevent blackouts. Each paper is powdered, toner peels off with poor-quality copies or when printing on old printers and remains stuck on feeding mechanisms. At the same time, even if users are more self-careful, it happens that even a paper clip passes into the scanner.

An example is a transport company that processes hundreds of pages of paper documents daily. These documents often travel many miles with drivers before they can be scanned. The scanner can then be polluted due to dusty documents and the scanned documents lose readability and degradation of the image. In a dusty scanner, malfunctions easily arise, sensors become clogged, transport parts become dirty, and consumables wear out faster.
