The goal of the State Land Office was to increase the efficiency of the overall digitization process within 50 workplaces throughout the Czech Republic and a modern solution with the future possibility of easy implementation of other required functionalities resulting from the principles of operation of this agency.
In the first phase of the document digitization process, the requirement was to scan the inbox and general documents, and the need to automatically assign scanned documents to the file service. Using the integrated OCR technology, the recognition and conversion of characters from printed documents to the output PDF layer has been solved, which can be further worked with.

The whole project was evaluated as very successful due to the professional and practical approach of all stakeholders.
Within two weeks, we managed to 50 SPÚ workplaces to deliver and install 50 document scanners Fujitsu fi-7260, including Kofax Express software implementation.
At the same time, users were trained so that daily activities were comfortable and in accordance with established working practices.
Fujitsu scanners are under warranty and SLA for 5 years. Service support from INFOMATIC provides SPÚ with continuous operation at individual workplaces. Any outage that would be caused by the document scanner is resolved within 2 working days at the installation site.
